Paul did an OUTSTANDING job on our floors! We had added new flooring which required Paul sanding down the old to match the new! Media doesn't exacting, Paul really takes pride in his work! So happy he did our flooring! Thank you Paul!!!

Paul and I worked closely for about a week as he finished some new red oak and relished some older red oak. He also refinished red oak and pine stair cases.

Paul Duffy sanded and refinished our floors in our living room, dining room, and two bedrooms. The floors were in very bad condition. It was amazing how the floors came back looking like new again.

Paul Duffy recently refinished the floors in our home. The floors were factory finished hardwoods and had an awful yellow, somewhat “flat” finish. Paul did an amazing job and now the floors have a depth and color that we didn’t think was possible. In addition to doing a wonderful job, Paul was terrific to work with - he was timely, responded promptly, kept the mess to a minimum and took precautions to ensure no damage occurred to walls, counters or cabinets. I’d use Paul again without hesitation and will absolutely refer him to anyone redoing their floors.

I would highly recommend Paul and his wife Alba to anyone who is looking for a floor refinishing expert. Paul recently completed refinishing our Oak hardwood floors, exactly as he scheduled it.

The preparation was meticulous and detailed. The application was consistent throughput the house. Paul mixes several cans of Poly into 1 batch, and then strains it through nylon to remove bubbles and any sediments. The end result was an extremely smooth floor, consistent coverage and an outstanding shine!

I would rate Paul as a master craftsman, with expert knowledge who takes exceptional pride in his work.

We have used Paul Duffy's expertise and professional service on two separate occasions over the course of a year during an extended kitchen remodel. On the first occasion, Paul was able to refinish and match almost perfectly, the part of the oak floor that was previously unfinished or mismatched. We found Paul to be very knowledgeable, yet cautious and meticulous. An expert in his field. On the second occasion, Paul sanded and stained unfinished areas that were still visible due to a last minute kitchen design change (after all the cabinets and appliances were in position). I was so impressed with Paul Duffy, the owner of Duffy Hardwood Flooring. I sent him a email about getting a quote on my floors. He contacted me via email that he would be in my area the next day doing quotes. I replied and set up a time. He was on time, neat, polite and honest. I was so impressed. As it turned out my floors don't really need to be done, but if they did he would do the job.

Paul Duffy is the Ultimate wood floor refinished. He is very customer oriented, very meticulous at his craft, and always sharing his knowledge he has accumulated over his 30+ years.
